Virtual Desktops
Secure, isolated remote workspaces with auto-scaling, zero-trust security, and multi-monitor support for distributed content creation teams.
Overview
Remangu Virtual Desktops provide secure, isolated remote workspaces purpose-built for content creation studios and media enterprises operating across distributed teams. Each desktop environment runs in its own tenancy boundary with up to 64 CPU cores, 512GB of RAM, and NVMe SSD storage, delivered through the NICE DCV streaming protocol for responsive interaction regardless of geographic location.
The platform enforces a zero-trust security model at every layer. Network micro-segmentation, identity-aware access policies, and encrypted data paths ensure that proprietary assets never leave the controlled environment. Studios working under NDA or pre-release embargo gain the operational flexibility of remote work without compromising IP protection.
Key Features
- Isolated Environments — Each virtual desktop operates within a dedicated security boundary. Network traffic between desktops is blocked by default, and data exfiltration controls prevent unauthorized file transfers, clipboard operations, and screen capture.
- Auto-Scaling — Desktop pools grow and shrink based on configurable triggers: time-of-day schedules, active user count, or integration signals from project management systems. New desktops provision in under three minutes.
- Zero-Trust Security — Every session requires multi-factor authentication through your identity provider. Conditional access policies enforce device compliance, network posture, and session duration limits before granting access.
- Multi-Monitor Support — NICE DCV natively supports up to four monitors at 4K resolution each, with per-display layout persistence across sessions. Artists retain their workspace configuration without manual reconfiguration.
- Persistent Storage — User profiles, project files, and application state persist on dedicated NVMe volumes that survive desktop restarts and scaling events. Shared team storage is available via managed NFS or SMB mounts.

How It Works
- Define Pools — Administrators create desktop pools with specific compute profiles, base images, and security policies using the Remangu management console or Terraform modules.
- Assign Users — Map pools to teams or individuals through your existing identity provider. Role-based access controls determine which pools, storage volumes, and network resources each user can reach.
- Connect — Users authenticate via SSO and MFA, then connect through the NICE DCV client or a supported browser. The platform selects the optimal desktop from the pool and streams the session with sub-frame latency.
- Manage — Monitor utilization, session health, and cost metrics from a centralized dashboard. Set auto-scaling policies that balance responsiveness with budget targets, and audit all access events through integrated logging.
